After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in sculpture, I worked in wood and paper mache for many years. But then one day, in the spring of 2007, Debbie Lane (of the Wallingford Potters Guild) introduced me to clay. Not long after that, she introduced me to some amazing artisans from Wallingford, Pennsylvania. And then - I was motivated to produce as much ceramic sculpture as possible. My life was changed.

I now get to make one-of-a-kind, hand-carved fine art sculpture of my favorite subjects.
